Turkish rise
In 1935, Pasabahce started producing glasses on behalf of the then Turkish cabinet. This allowed the company to supply the whole country with glasses. By the end of 1936, Pasabahce was already able to supply the whole country with bottles and glasses. This was the result of a very large expansion. This went very well for a very long time, leading the company to take its first steps towards full automation in 1955, followed by the first robot to produce glass in 1989. In 1957, Pasabahce opened its first shop, allowing customers to buy glasses. This expanded across Europe, resulting in numerous Pasabahce shops being opened across Europe.
Current course of action
Today, Pasabahce has opened official branches in countries all over Europe, with Pasabahce B.V. in the Netherlands as an example. This allows the company's Turkish image to be spread around the whole of Europe and allows everyone to judge the quality of its glasses. Besides Turkey, Pasabahce now also produces in Bulgaria, Russia and Egypt. Pasabahce is the largest glassware company in the world and aims to hold this position for a long time to come.
