The benefits of printed glasses
There are several benefits that come with printing glasses. This is aimed at both businesses and individuals! These are the following benefits:
- Personalisation: By printing glasses, you turn a simple glass into a personal item. At a wedding, for example, this is a great extra!
- Brand awareness: When your company's logo is printed on a glass, the drinker is reminded of your brand with every sip.
- Marketing for your company: Not only the person using the glass sees your print. In fact, you can reach many more people with it. Think of when a picture is taken of two people each holding the same printed glass. A nice, clear print stands out. This sticks in people's minds, making them quickly recognise your company or association or think of it more quickly.
- Professional appearance of your brand: By printing your glasses with your logo, you give a professional appearance. It shows that you pay attention to the details of your brand.
- Unique gifts for individuals and companies: Want to offer a fun personalised gift? Print your glasses with a personal message to your employees or to friends and family, for example. An item someone can enjoy for years to come. And at the same time, you can ensure brand awareness and marketing of your brand when this is a business gift!
So the biggest advantage of printed glasses is that you can convey a clear message. Whether this is to expand your brand awareness or to offer a fun gift. We regularly print beautiful unique glasses for use in hospitality and corporate canteens, as well as for events and weddings.
Riké Group offers the best quality printing
At Riké Group, we print glasses in the best way possible. So you don't have to worry about the quality of the printing. With many prints, you see that after just a few washes, it starts to fade and sometimes even comes off completely. At Riké Group, this does not happen! This is because we print all glasses dishwasher-safe.
There are many different printing techniques for printing glassware. We use three different printing techniques that are all dishwasher-safe. We would be happy to tell you more about them.
Glass printing techniques we use at Riké Group
Each printing technique has its own application. So there is a lot of difference between the different printing techniques. The most commonly used methods for glass printing are screen printing and transfer printing. We also use digital printing for full-colour printing.
Screen printing
As the name suggests, screen printing uses a screen. First, the right colour is mixed. Then the glasses are printed by 'pressing' the screen or screen frame onto the glass with ceramic ink. This ink consists of small pieces of glass mixed with paint. This gives them the right colour. As a final step, this ink is fired into the glass. We do this in the oven. This oven bakes your glasses at about 600 degrees.
Transfer printing
In transfer printing, your logo is printed with ceramic ink. After printing, we soak your logo in water. This loosens the logo from the sheet of paper. This makes it easy to apply the print to the glass. This is usually done manually. After drying, the glassware is fired in the oven.
Digital printing
With digital printing, we make the most beautiful full-colour prints at Riké Group. Think of applications such as on water bottles, long drink glasses or even beer glasses. With digital printing, it is also possible to print ceramic inks. For example, you can choose to print a logo with a colour gradient.
